School Partnership
MISSION
To support and collaborate with educators and teaching professionals in providing their students with most up-to-date and effective positive behavior change programs to foster the most successful classroom learning experiences.
Goals
Integrate the most effective behavioral practices with each individual teacher’s needs to address challenging behavior and increase opportunities for inclusion
Equip teachers and families with added insight and skills that allow them to effectively decrease challenging behavior (Erchul & Martens, 2012)
Provide support and assistance in the NBBS process
Facilitate opportunities for additional training with families to ensure fidelity across the school and home environments
MODEL
Our consultative partnerships are triadic, involving:
School Districts or Organizations, Teachers, Para-professionals, Classroom-Aides, Assistants
Students and their Parents and/or Guardians
Other organizations requesting consultants and training
We understand that the best consultative partnerships are non-hierarchical, supportive, and collaborative. Training Wheels values individualized professional and behavioral support programs.
Assessments
An Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) assessment is an important tool in providing a roadmap to goal formulation and treatment planning. ABA assessments measure skills across a vast range of domains, including motor imitation, language, visual perception, independent play, social play, linguistic structure, classroom and group skills, and other developmental disabilities. These assessments play a crucial role in planning the makeup of ABA support that will offer the best starting point to treat a child.
